In July 2005, Kayla Dopp, a member of the Palomares Figure Skating Club was killed at the age of nine in a car accident on Highway 1 in California. Kayla was an enthusiastic and graceful skater, and her love of the sport was known to all. She was always a bright spot at the rinks she frequented with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She is deeply missed by us all.

To members and our community, the Palomares Club and the Dopp Family would like to thank you for your outpouring of support during this difficult time.
